Nehemiah Foundation Logo

Originally, the founder of The Nehemiah Foundation for Cultural Renewal started his organization to help artists create original music. Over the years his efforts were successful and he added writing, poetry, other arts and education to their mission. It started to confuse his team and their followers and people didn’t know what all the foundation was producing.

When the client asked me to redesign the logo, the team began to restructure the foundation. In the midst of the design phase, the directors chose to split The Nehemiah Foundation in two. The original foundation would live on, and the half focused on education became Renew The Arts.

Ideas for the redesign forked in two, as I’ve represented here. The two at the top are the final designs and the rest are mockups I created throughout the project cycle.
