My fun, thrilling, charming wife turns 30 today. Honestly, she is the best thing that’s happened to me. I wouldn’t be a graphic designer or writer if it weren’t for her advice over the years.
We met late in our teens at church. She was in the orchestra. I was a complete geek. She thought that I thought Superman was a real person. To me, Liz Martin was the ideal, intelligent, go-getter that I wanted to call my friend. She was my Lois Lane.
Liz started her career at the bottom of the restaurant business and rose to the top of a Inc. 5,000 company in web media networking. She is raising, along with me, two precocious children that just started their first year in school. She’s authoring her first book—one that I am sure will change the lives of her readers.
In the 14 years that I’ve known her, Liz has been the noblest, persevering woman in the world. I’m honored that she is my best friend.
