PDFpen Scan+ Screencast

David Sparks shares the features of PDFpen Scan+ 1.3 in his latest clever demo video:

Here is my latest screencast demonstrating PDFpen Scan+ 1.3. This new version has a lot of improvements on both the front end (with a new iOS 7 friendly UI) and the back end (wait until you see how good it is at edge detection). This is my favorite app for turning bits of paper into digital PDF files full of OCR’d bits of awesomeness.

This app looks excellent. In my experience, the iPhone and iPad are terrific for scanning documents and saving them in a variety of file formats. Sharing scans is easy too.

Last week, my boss wanted quick scans of cupping notes from our coffee supplier that he’d left at the office. I took snap photos of the cupping note cards and I sent them through Dropbox in less than five minutes.
