I had the pleasure of reviewing another live action Disney fairy tale this week with TJ Draper and Joe Rosensteel.
We discussed interesting bits in filmmaking, then got down to a great discussion about Enchanted (2007). Amy Adams nailed the fine line between sincerely innocent fairy tale princess and cartoon character. One part parody, romantic comedy, and Disney classic, Enchanted serves a broad spectrum of classic and modern themes. While I’m not particularly interested in some of the comical relief characters and a lull late in the second act. Yet it’s still a charming film.
